On June 14–15, 2024, the Vietnam Audiology Association, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Audiology Society, the Ho Chi Minh City Otolaryngology Society, and the southern provinces, organized the 3rd International Ear and Audiology Scientific Conference.
Building on the success of the 2nd National Scientific Conference on Audiology and Otology in 2023 and celebrating World Hearing Day on March 3, the 3rd 3rd International Ear and Audiology Scientific Conference brought together leaders from the Lam Dong Province Department of Health, professors, associate professors, and leading domestic and international experts from Europe, Singapore, Thailand, and more. The conference's theme was “Integration and Development.”

The conference in Da Lat attracted nearly 500 delegates and featured over 70 scientific presentations by leading experts in audiology, speech therapy, and related fields from both Vietnam and abroad.
The objectives of the conference included:
- Updating knowledge and sharing experiences in audiology, hearing aids, and cochlear implants
- Addressing otolaryngology issues, including antibiotics, antibiotic resistance in otitis media, sinus problems, and vaccines for otolaryngology prevention
- Exploring advancements in speech therapy and related areas
The event also served as a platform to showcase pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment manufacturers, and providers of advanced otolaryngology devices, hearing aids, and cochlear implants from Vietnam and around the world.

In partnership with the Journal of Preventive Medicine, the Vietnam Audiology Association released a special issue titled “Special Edition – 3rd International Scientific Conference on Audiology and Otology (Da Lat, Vietnam, 2024)”. This issue featured 6 review articles, 18 research studies, and letters to the editor.
